So, I've given a few tips here and there on what works when it comes to fashion, and what doesn't. But I just realized that I completely forgot to mention the most important aspect in choosing what to wear-be true to you. Sure, it's great to look good and be on trend, but some days you have to just throw on what makes you happy and ignore all the rest. Sometimes I can't help wearing something that I know is not fashion kosher. Have a candy-pink low cut tank top that makes you feel sexy? A headband you adore but fear makes you look like a middle schooler? A vintage skirt that you love but know your friends wouldn't be caught dead in? Wear it!!! Throwing rules of fashion to the wind and wearing your own special thing every now and then is sooo worth it!
For instance....I love Mu-mus! Probably the most un-flattering thing to wear, but I can't help it...actually, I am kind of notorious for leaning towards 'stuff old ladies would wear' in general, and it's something I have to fight against, lol!
