Makeup Tutorial: Peacock eyes

You will need: Concealer and powder
       Shimmery medium purple eyeshadow; shimmery medium blue/teal eyeshadow ( I used the middle shadow in both of these palettes.

Your first step is to prime your eyelid completely in concealer. Concealer is a little thicker than regular foundation, and typically more wear-resistant. After applying your concealer, dust powder over your lids to set. I use a kabuki brush instead of a regular loose powder brush because it provides more coverage, and you really want to make sure you get powder all over your eye. I don't typically go to great lengths to prime my eyelids before applying shadow, but it really is an important step when using bright colored eyeshadow.
My lid-primed and ready!

Step two: Apply the purple eyeshadow starting at the lashline. Work your way up to your crease, and blend it a little above.
Purple shadow applied!

Step three: Apply your eyeliner...use dark brown or black eyeliner and line your upper and lower lashlines.

Step four...using a small eyeshadow brush, apply blue shadow at the inner corners of eyes and blend slightly. Then apply at the outside edge of your upper lashline, winging out a little at the end:
Shadow=all done!!

Then add 2 coats of mascara...
