So the other day I showed you my favorite daytime makeup look. HERE is a tutorial for how to do my new favorite eye makeup look-a bronze and gray smoky eye. I actually saw this makeup on the web on a celebrity...don't freak out when I tell you who it is...Kanye West's ex-girlfriend Amber Rose! I know I know...not the best fashion icon. But her makeup on this occasion looked AMAZING, and I had to try it-just trust me.
Here are some pics of the finished product-and to check out how to achieve this look for yourself, check out my video!
I also wore this makeup during my blog post about Bliss here.
XOXO,
L

Hi Leah! Thank you so much for showing us how to make our eyes really "pop". Your eyes are a really beautiful color. I am currently using Cover Girl Lash Blast...what is your favorite mascara now? Mascara technology seems to have really exploded in the past year or so. I picked up the Great Lash "Big" and Revelon "Grow Lucious Plumping" (both are new I think) today at the drug store to try.
I am still kind of searching for my favorite...I really like "the Falsies" by Maybelline, but it is a little on the clumpy side. I'd love to hear how those new mascaras work out for you!
Very pretty - I'm going to give this a go. Thanks for sharing, Leah.

i love this eye look for going out!! i love playing up my eyes in new ways, and i wouldn't have thought to put the charcoal with the bronze it's so pretty!! do u think it would be too much on blue eyes?? ur big beautiful brown eyes really pop w/ this look, wondering how my blue would do. hahaha! aaaaaaaand i have to say, i already have long lashes, BUT i just this week started using L'Oreal Double Extend mascara, it's a blue tube and u do the white conditioning base first then put on the black mascara and i'm telling you, it's AMAZING!! my eyelashes have NEVER EVER looked better and they're long and lush and clump-free and seriously amazing, every.single.time. i'm so glad i finally tried it!! anywho, i think i might try this look this weekend i have a GNO!! woohoo!!

I think the charcoal/bronze would look amazing with blue eyes, but prepare for them to look shockingly blue (because browns and grays both make blue eyes really intense). I have actually heard really good things about Double Extend before, but I haven't tried it yet-that might have to be my next mascara purchase! Thanks for the tip : )I actually became a new follower of your blog earlier today!
